Former Anorthosis striker Mike Obiku has returned to Cyprus, paying a visit to the club's museum. The Nigerian veteran met with the museum’s head, Nikos Mitsiou, marking another moment in his long-standing connection with the Famagusta club.

Visiting the Museum

During his stay, Obiku toured the facilities housing the history of Anorthosis. The former forward was photographed alongside the museum’s manager, Nikos Mitsiou, highlighting the enduring bond between the player and the "Old Lady" of Cypriot football.

The First Spell (1989-1992)

Mike Obiku first joined Anorthosis in 1989, quickly becoming a key figure for the team. During his initial three-year stint which concluded in 1992, he made 69 appearances and found the net 33 times, establishing himself as one of the league's most prolific scorers of that era.

Second Stint in 1999-2000

After several seasons abroad, the Nigerian attacker returned to Anorthosis for the 1999-2000 campaign. His second tenure proved to be equally clinical; he managed to score 14 goals in just 21 appearances, further cementing his legacy among the club’s historical goalscorers.
